Replace Non Standard OE Grip Bushings September 18, 2024 Reviewer: Clyde Mercer from Wahoo, NE United States   I wanted to replace the OE grip screws on my Walther Colt 1911 Gold Gup 22lr pistol.  Standard 1911 grip screw threads will not fit in the Walther Colt and standard grip screw bushing threads will not fit the Walther Colt frame.  These grip screw bushings have screw threads that fit the frame and threads that fit standard1911 grip screws.  Great product at a great price with great delivery.  The gun looks entirely now with new grips and grip screws. Why did Umarex use non-standard threading?
