Got one just in case October 15, 2021 Reviewer: EC from , Ohio   Ordered both screw types, as I wasn't sure which one I needed for an 80% receiver that had the threaded hole for it. Turns out I needed the other one, but I'm glad I ordered this one too, just in case I run into a Savage made receiver.  In case you need to figure it out too, the Aero type is 1/4-28, the same as the pistol grip screw, while the large Savage one is 1/4-20. Savage tension screws March 13, 2020 Reviewer: Hector Montemayor from Laredo , TX United States   The small one worked fine on my savage stripped lower from Academy. However, the larger screw did go into my Savage Recon stripped lower, also from Academy, but did not screw in far enough (about 1/4 inch too short) I don’t know if the screw is too short or the hole tapers or just runs out of threads.
