Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 
1) Verify weapon is unloaded
2) Push out rear take down pin
3) Depress buffer retainer and pull out recoil buffer
4) Insert recoil buffer and push into buffer tube so that the buffer retainer holds buffer and spring in place

It's heavy and good suppressed, I only recommend that the manufacturer release an even heavier buffer weight. Something in the H5 or H6 area for people who want total silence out of a semiautomatic. It'll trap the gas longer and prevent over gassing to the extreme.

5 of 5 H3/5.5oz heavy style buffer May 17, 2022

I have not yet had a chance to install the H3/5.5oz buffer yet, have had allot going on, but it is just what I was looking for. One of the lowest costs I have found on the market, for an H3 style buffer. The buffer housing had some scratches and the outside coating looks like black paint instead of being anodizes, but I don't care about that, long as it works. you do not see it, when it is installed anyway. Yes I would recommend Taylor Tactical Supply H3/5.5oz Buffer to anybody looking for a good solid reliable H3 style buffer at a reasonable price, among many other products. Taylor Tactical Supply is a great place to get reasonable priced parts and accessories for your AR platform, and pistols as well. You will not be disappointed, if you are looking for fit and function. I hope this helps you in with your shopping decision.

No fit or finish issues. I used it in a 300 AAC pistol that was having cycling issues (wouldn't cycle subsonic ammo). This buffer with the standard carbine buffer spring worked to fix the cycling issues. I'm happy!
