This magazine spring is a direct replacement for the 15 round 22 conversion kit magazines for the Beretta M9 series of pistols. If you are looking to remove the spacer in your 10 round 22 conversion magazines and convert them to 15 rounds, this is the spring you will need. The longer spring will allow for the slide lock to engage on your 22LR conversion kit. This spring is longer and stronger than the magazine springs found in the dedicated M9-22 pistols and is meant for the conversion kit magazines (see photo).

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 
1) Depress the spring plug that protrudes from the bottom of the basepad.

2) Slide off the basepad.

2) Remove the spring retainer and spring.

3) Insert new spring and compress spring & spring retainer into magazine body and slide on the basepad.

I have been trying to get replacement magazine springs from Beretta for my 87T for a couple of years to no avail (Beretta's customer service is horrible). I needed to replace some bad springs that came in 3 of my $75 factory magazines (temper was bad and all 3 took a "set" during their first few outings, keeping the follower from reaching the top of the magazine body, making the magazine absolutely useless) and contacted Taylor Tactical to see if they had a solution. After a couple emails sharing coil count and spring diameter measurement, I ordered 2 of these springs to test. I now have a complete set of fully functioning magazines again for my 87 Target!!! I immediately ordered a dozen more to keep on hand. THANK YOU Taylor Tactical for the excellent customer service and fantastic communication.

These are slightly longer than the stock springs and work well. They should ship in cardboard tubes or similar protection. A few were bent in shipping and handling.

This spring is a little longer than the stock spring for the15 round Beretta mag. but it worked perfect to convert a 10 round to a 15 round mag.
