This replacement sight set will fit the Colt 1911-22 Rail Gun made by Walther / Umarex. Tools and instructions are included to install the new sight set. The fiber optic sight features a glass fiber insert that collects ambient light and amplifies the front sight making it easier for your eyes to find the front sight faster and acquire the target quicker. The fiber rod sits recessed inside the front sight reducing the "hallow" effect of other fiber front sights on the market. This makes the front sight more clear and crisp than other fiber optic sights on the market. The rear sight has rear serrations to reduce glare for a better sight picture. The underside of the rear sight has a small steel plate that helps disperse the pressure from the set screw used to tighten the rear sight in place. This reduces or eliminates any damaged to the soft alloy slide that may result from over tightening the set screw.

Installation Instructions RESTRICTIONS
 
The front sight should fit snug in the slide, but should slip right in. Do not use anything heavier than the nylon punch included with this sight. Tighten setscrew with the provided hex wrench. We recommend using LOCTITE 262 glue or equivalent on the bottom of sight dovetail before installing. Follow the LOCTITE 262 instructions.

Wish they sold tritium sights but these sights helped with my point of impact tremendously when I fish bought the gun the factory sights had the gun hitting about 3” low at 25 feet which is horrible now with these new sights it hits dead on and the front sight illuminates perfectly wherever I put the red dot is where my bullet hits love these sights for shooting combat competition shooting

I've been very fond of my latest pistol -- except for the white-paint dot ln the front sight.  My eyesight is not the best, and that dot was difficult to locate quickly and accurately.  The replacement sight set (front and rear) I bought from Dawson fit easily on the gun -- and the front red fiber-optic sight gives me almost instant sight acquisition.  Oh, and no one other than Dawson carried sights that would fit on my gun!  
(This takes away my last excuse for not being a better marksman.  But practicing with the new gun is now a real pleasure.)
