The reciprocating charging handle can be treacherous looking as the rifle cycles. One has to only imagine banging a thumb on it or getting hung up in a CQB situation on a barrier or wall. This charging handle is a drop-in replacement for the existing SCAR handle, meaning no modifications to the gun are needed. Once installed, the handle can be left in the non-folded position mimicking the factory handle or folded down and out of the way. The folding charging handle does not impact the operation of the rifle due to the weight-saving design. So if you shoot suppressed or normal, the gun still functions as it should.

Heavy Duty CNC machined construction with internal spring detent to remain in the open OR closed position. Increased safety due to reduced profile. Left or Right handed operation. Can be used as a forward assist. Black Oxide Finish. 1/2" (.500) folded, 1 3/4" (1.750) extended.

Installation Instructions
 
Follow the factory field strip instructions to remove the factory charging handle. Replace the factory chargin handel with the folding charging handle and reassemble per factory instructions.
