Constructed of stainless steel, our guide rod allows for easier assembly of the Walther 4 Inch PPQ-22 pistol (Does not fit the 5 Inch version). The captured guide rod assembly uses a hex screw and a stainless steel washer at the end of the rod to "capture" the recoil spring. The guide rod can be used with both factory strength and reduced power springs offered HERE It is recommended to use a small amount of thread locker on the screw to keep it from backing out over time.
Captured Guide Rod Assembly comes with
  • SS Guide Rod
  • SS Washer
  • SS Hex Screw
  • Hex Wrench
  • Polymer Recoil Buffer
  • Factory Strength Recoil Spring

1 of 5 PPQ .22 captive rod & spring March 15, 2024

Looked great but Failed after the 1st shot with CCI mini mags. The spring mangled itself and jammed up the slide so FTF on every other round after manual clearing and recharging. I Sent pictures via email to service two days ago and still no reply. Magazine 15 end kits work great one I put the OEM spring and rod back in.
